Luxoflux was a video game developer that was founded in 1997 and based in Santa Monica, California. Luxoflux developed a number of successful titles including Vigilante 8, Star Wars: Demolition, True Crime: Streets of LA, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The company had a reputation for creating engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. Their games often featured a strong focus on vehicle combat and exploration, as well as detailed environments and dynamic sound effects.
Luxoflux was acquired by Activision in 2002 and later merged into other development studios. Many of the former Luxoflux employees went on to work for other prominent studios such as Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, and Treyarch.
